Five titles, two companies, one platform rebuilt.

Nearly six years — from prototyping POCs at CareerLabs to setting the engineering standards a whole SaaS suite ships on at Confiance Bizsol. Here's what each role actually involved.

Assistant Engineering Manager

Confiance Bizsol Pvt Ltd

Moved from building the platform to setting how it gets built — cloud-native standards, review culture and mentorship across every product in the SaaS suite.

Hours → minOCR document processing time
IaC-firstEvery infra change shipped as code
MentorEngineers grown through reviews and 1:1s
WHAT I OWNED
IaC-first deployments on EKSMade infrastructure-as-code the only path to production: every cluster, service and policy reviewed in a PR, reproducible across environments.
OCR pipelineDesigned the document OCR pipeline end to end — queueing, worker autoscaling and retries — cutting processing from hours to minutes.
Engineering standardsWrote and enforced shared conventions for service structure, observability and deploys so teams stop reinventing the same decisions.
Structured code review & mentorshipIntroduced a review rubric and regular 1:1s; turned reviews into the main channel for teaching architecture and ops judgment.
WHAT I TOOK AWAYMy leverage stopped being the code I write and became the defaults I set. A good standard ships more reliable software than any single PR.

Software Development Engineer L2

Confiance Bizsol Pvt Ltd

Led the move from hand-managed EC2 to Kubernetes on EKS, and architected the Node.js microservices the rest of the product now depends on.

EC2 → EKSPlatform migration, led end to end
100%Uptime through the cutover
30–40%Lower cluster cost with Spot + fallback
WHAT I OWNED
EC2-to-EKS migrationPlanned and ran the migration service by service, with parallel environments and staged traffic shifts so nothing broke for customers.
Microservice suiteArchitected the paywall, email and file-management services in Node.js — clear contracts, independent deploys, shared observability.
Spot capacity with on-demand fallbackMoved workloads onto Spot instances with automatic on-demand fallback, cutting cluster spend by 30–40% without trading away reliability.
Operational ownershipOwned on-call, dashboards and alerting for the services I built — the feedback loop that shaped how I design them.
WHAT I TOOK AWAYMigrations succeed on sequencing, not heroics. Reversible small steps beat one big weekend every time.

Software Development Engineer III

Confiance Bizsol Pvt Ltd

Joined to make two high-traffic services faster and to connect the product to the accounting systems customers already live in.

20–30%Faster responses on two high-traffic services
ImportsPipelines from third-party accounting systems
WHAT I OWNED
Latency work on high-traffic servicesProfiled request paths, fixed query patterns and added caching where it mattered, bringing response times down 20–30%.
Accounting data-import pipelinesBuilt import pipelines against third-party accounting APIs — mapping, validation and idempotent re-runs for messy real-world data.
Getting productive remotelyLearned the codebase and domain fast while fully remote, shipping measurable improvements within the first months.
WHAT I TOOK AWAYMeasure before you optimize. The slowest thing is rarely where intuition points.

Software Development Engineer II

CareerLabs Technologies

Moved from prototypes to production: containerised every service and built the internal tools the company ran its outreach on.

100k+Redirects through the in-house URL shortener
~₹70kSaved per quarter by replacing a WhatsApp vendor
DockerContainerisation pipeline across all services
WHAT I OWNED
Docker containerisation pipelineContainerised every service and enforced environment parity between dev, staging and production.
High-throughput URL shortenerBuilt the company-wide URL shortener that handled 100k+ redirects.
In-house WhatsApp marketing platformBuilt on the WhatsApp Business Cloud API and AWS SQS, replacing a third-party vendor and saving ~₹70,000 a quarter.
CRM data syncIntegrated LeadSquared, Zoho CRM and other platforms over REST APIs for near real-time, consistent data across systems.
WHAT I TOOK AWAYInternal tools are products too. The ones that replaced a vendor earned their keep the day they shipped.

Product Associate

CareerLabs Technologies

My first role: turning product ideas into working prototypes fast enough for stakeholders to react to them.

3Product launches contributed to
Full-stackNode.js + Vue.js POCs for stakeholder demos
WHAT I OWNED
Full-stack proofs of conceptPrototyped Node.js backends and Vue.js frontends for stakeholder demos, translating product requirements into something people could click through.
Product launchesContributed to three product launches, carrying ideas from early prototype to the version that shipped.
WHAT I TOOK AWAYA working prototype ends more debates than a document does. Showing beats describing.
